• Valuation Engagement - These valuations resultsin a conclusion of value where the valuation analyst is free to apply the valuation approaches and methods he or she deems appropriate. The results of a Valuation Engagement can be communicated in an oral report or in either a detailed or a summary written report.
• Calculation Engagement - These valuations are more limited in that thye do not include all of the procedures required for a valuation engagement and bases its results on valuation approaches and methods that are agreed upon by the client and the valuation analyst. The results of a Calculation Engagement can be communicated in either an oral report or a written calculation report.
